9 Herbs and Spices that add to health

Aren’t we always looking for great ways to add to our health? I found some neat herbs and spices that many of use already use, but don’t know how great they can be for our health! Herbs and spices contain phytochemicals that have health-enhancing effects. So, lets add a little flavor before we go and add the salt.

  1. Oregano: It contains quercetin, an antioxidant. Use in homemade salad dressings, tomato dishes and pasta or you can even add to canned soup for a fresh kick.

  1. Basil: It contains vitamin K for blood and bone health as well as the antioxidant monoterpenes. It is just fabulous in all kinds of chicken and pasta dishes!
