I hope that all of you had a wonderful day and are on your way to finishing up this week strong, encouraged, and of course…Fabulous! I mentioned last week that this weekend/week would be a tough week and indeed it was, but I am SO thankful for my husband, my children, and the wonderful family and supportive friends that I have been blessed with. As you know, I started working and I was scheduled to take my state exam yesterday(which I did PASS…woot woot!). On top of that it is finals’ week for my husband and we also moved this weekend. This weekend and part of this week was a blur and I am feeling like a zombie, but I wanted to post before I head off to bed!
After spending a few minutes reflecting on this past week and even going as far back as the last 4yrs, I can say that I am content where I am. My family and I have come a long way filled with trials, headaches, tribulations, but at the end of the day I am thankful that I have experienced those things. Not only because we are much stronger, but because in order to have a testimony, you gotta go through the test!
So all that I am saying is…Embrace where you are! It doesn’t mean that you have to be complacent and stay there, it just means that you are living to the best of your ability right where you are. And if you are going through….do JUST that…go through, because the storm doesn’t last always and your harvest time is right around the corner!
Now that I got that off my chest here is what I wore:
Shirt: Thrifted Capris: Forever21 Shoes: www.KeepItSassies.com Jewelry: Premier Designs Jewelry
I know I keep saying this, but really, PLEASE bear with me and my “bootleg” photos. I DO know that they are not the greatest and I DO know that my scenery is….um….pitiful, BUT it IS going to get better. Eventually! lol
I actually had on a military blazer in olive green with this, but when I left work I quickly took it off and threw it in the passenger seat and of course I was too lazy to go back and grab it.
I pray you ladies have a wonderful weekend ahead of you. As for me…I will be getting my house in order. I am also working on a fashion article for a Christian youth magazine and I am SUPER excited. It is so amazing to me how God answers to even the smallest prayers because I have been praying, looking, watching, and expecting for my fashion business to get back to where it once was and slowly but surely everything is starting to pick back up nicely.
